Going to Katsucon.

That's right. I, The Necro Critic, will be going to Katsucon this weekend. I worked out a deal with one of my college buddies to help out with the video staff, in exchange for a free ticket. Personally, I'm excited about this, because this is my first anime convention. Unfortunately, I don't have any money for convention swag and the like, but oh well.


Also, I will be filming my experience there, and hope to post it here next week.


If any of you guys are going to Katsucon, and you see me there while I'm not on duty, feel free to say hello. I always enjoy meeting fans in person.

Oh that's wicked awesome! I remember my first time I bumped into a guy that dressed up (and acted) completely as Auron from FFX at AnimeExpo...but then again my most recent time at the con last year I almost step on a guy who was sitting and acting exactly as L from Death Note. That was kinda creepy. Interesting people one meets at these cons.

Congratulations for your oportunity, Necro.
I remember the first time I went to a comic book convention. Good times.
Seeing Roscharch fighting Obi Wan was one of the strangest things I ever saw.
Have fun, and don't worry about not having money for buying things in the convention. Usually, the things you end up wasting money on, are food and drinks, and maybe a few comics, or a tomato made of some kind of jelly that explodes and then reforms itself. Good stuff.
