An Important Announcement

Hello everyone. As I'm sure you've all noticed, it's been forever since I've posted a video. Well, as bad as it probably sounds, there is a reason for that. You see, throughout the past several months, a lot has been going on in my life: family issues, school problems, and a few personal problems that I would rather not discuss at the moment, that have been keeping me from working on my videos.

However, that is not the full story. You see, making videos is a much longer and harder process than people think. Between the constant rewatching and playing of source material, research, writing out a script, getting my title card from Tobia, finding the right conditions to film in, collecting extra material for the video, and editing, the process is an incredibly long and tedious one. It's recently occurred to me that all of that effort isn't worth it in the end. I've been at this for almost three years now, and I only have 17 episodes and a small group of viewers to show for it. Whereas other people like The Nostalgia Critic or Linkara are able to update every week with fresh material and a massive fanbase.

Because of this, in the rare moments when I've had the free time to work on a video, I could never work up the motivation to start, and instead indulged in one of my useless hobbies like a lazy ass. I couldn't even work up the energy to do another crappy Nostalgia Critic rant, despite him reviewing two movies that I did before him, and constantly referencing one movie that I've reviewed that he hasn't even touched yet.

I kept telling myself that when I get more money and a smaller classload, I can afford tools to make working on my videos easier, and find more free time to work on them. But the money never comes, and I've been having more and more responsibilities piling up on me. Besides classes, I work an exhausting minimum-wage job, and act in theatrical productions that a lot of people are counting on me for. Outside of the reviews, I have a life and a future. Whereas here, the best thing I have to show for is a headline quote for TVTropes and an online store that literally nobody has even touched.

So, it is with great sadness that I officially announce my retirement from internet reviews. I no longer find the enjoyment in it that I used to. I'm sorry, but I look at myself and see effort and potential that has been wasted. It's been a fun ride, but the ride has ended, and it's time for me to get off. Farewell everyone, and thank you for the love and appreciation you've generously granted me these past three years.

America Season!

Just in time for the release of the new Captain America movie, here's my review of a lesser-known, lesser-quality, and lesser-liked America-themed superhero.

Forums are now up

In my six months of absence, something occurred to me. Other than the videos, this site has almost nothing to do. Since I now have 100+ members, I figured a forum would be a nice addition. Feel free to post there, get to know each other, and just have fun. Make sure to read the rules, though.

Also, I'm currently taking moderator applications. If you want to moderate my forums, email me a message containing your username, age, previous experience (if applicable), and why you'd make for a good mod.

Hey guys. Sorry for the absence. I've been going through a few issues for the past while, both technical and personal. However, I have returned triumphantly with a new review of the most infuriating anime that I've ever seen.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone. Unfortunately, my planned Christmas 2-parter will be a bit late (thanks to filming problems, part 2 won't be out until New Year's), so here's a little something to tide you over. A little blast from the past with my last Christmas Special.
